Meggan joined the MacLeod Lorway team in 2017 and brought 12 years of customer service with her. She is a native of Isle Madame but grew up in Greenwood. Meggan and her husband Shawn now reside in Guysborough.

Faye Carmichael joined the MacLeod Lorway team 1991. Faye is a native of Margaree Forks. Faye resides in Port Hawkesbury with her husband, Clayton. They have a son, a granddaughter and a grandson.

Wilfred Forgeron and Richard McKillop operated a brokerage in Petis de Gras, while in 1973,Jim Johnson started from scratch operating out of the TD Bank building, second floor. In 1980 a merger saw the development of McKillop & Johnson Insurance and they operated out of the second floor of the TD building. In 1987, Jim Johnson bought Richard McKillop’s share and in 1990 he moved the office to the main floor. In 1999 McKillop & Johnson was purchased by MacLeod Lorway Insurance but continued to operate under the former name until 2015 when all nine offices of the MacLeod Lorway Financial Group were branded simply, MacLeod Lorway. In November of 2015 the office moved to its current location in the “Little Tim’s” building.
