According to many sources, Fiona is looking to be more intense when she makes landfall than originally predicted.
We encourage you to prepare as much as possible for this weather event by:
– Securing your outdoor furniture
– Closing and locking all windows and doors
– Making sure all of your electronic devices are charged and that your flashlight has batteries
– Gathering 72 hours’ worth of emergency supplies, such as food and water (don’t forget about your pets!)
– Checking on your neighbours
– Creating an emergency plan
